The Evangelization Summit provides an opportunity for parish and school leaders to encounter Jesus, to be empowered to draw others to him, and to be equipped as effective evangelists. Attendees will leave with strategies to help them bring Jesus Christ to the people they associate with at work, at home, at church and in their social groups.Those who have fallen away from the faith are the greatest field of harvest right now. Help them come back to the faith. This Summit may help you or someone else bring your own family back to the church.

All Saints and All Souls and Memorial Mass

All Saints and All Souls Days

 

 

Both the Feast of All Saints and the Feast of All Souls evolved in the life of the Church independently of paganism and Halloween. However, elements of pagan practices were perhaps “baptized” by some cultures or attached themselves to the celebration of All Saints and All Souls….

All Saints’ Day is a solemn holy day of the Catholic Church celebrated annually on November 1. The day is dedicated to the saints of the Church, that is, all those who have attained heaven. It should not be confused with All Souls’ Day, which is observed on November 2, and is dedicated to those who have died and not yet reached heaven…..
