Before his triumphal entry into Jerusalem, Christ climbed to a high point on Mount Tabor with his disciples Peter, James, and John. While Jesus prayed upon the mountain, his appearance was changed by a brilliant white light which shone from him and from his clothing.

Administrator’s Corner: Father Leo Connolly
We welcome Father Sumner Eli as he arrives this week as he begins his ministry as Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and Seton Parishes. As he is coming from outside the diocese, I look forward to meeting him face to face and getting to know him.
Just as Father Sumner arrives, Father Cyprian is scheduled to leave on August 8 for a visit to his home country of Nigeria until September 16. We pray that his journey will be safe and that he enjoys being with his family and friends.
We continue to be most grateful to Father James Coleman at Church of Our Lady and his willingness to celebrate Masses. He has truly been a blessing during these weeks of transition given some of the unanticipated things that have arisen such as Father Cyprian having to go to Washington DC on the weekend of July 22-23 and now will be going to Nigeria as well as Father Sumner’s assignment not taking effect until August 8, 2023. As I write this, I am aware that Fr. Coleman will be with us for a few more weeks.
