Funeral Mass tomorrow at 10:00 am

Magdalena Olegario Haney, age 79, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. She was born on November 9, 1943 in Nancasalan, Mangatarem, Philippines to the late Alfredo and Estefania (Toledo) Olegario. Magdalena was soft spoken, but incredibly friendly. Visiting and spending time with her family brought her much joy and took Magdalena on far travels. She was passionate about cooking and enjoyed gambling with friends through games of Mahjong. She is survived by her two children, Joanna and Sean Haney; her sister, Iluminada Loria, and several cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Charles J. Haney; and brothers, Efren Olegario and Alfredo Olegario. Calling hours for Magdalena will take place on Tuesday, January 24 from 4 PM – 7 PM at Schoedinger East 5360 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43232. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 25 at Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Church 5225 Refugee Road, Columbus, Ohio 43232. Father James Coleman Celebrant.

This is Joanna Haney’s mother who was a parishioner until she was unable to attend. There will be a bereavement dinner (regardless of the weather) after the Funeral Mass tomorrow.
