New Part Time Parochial Vicar
We are happy to share with you that Father Tesfaye Petros, a priest of the Apostolic Vicariate of Gambella in Ethiopia, has been assigned as Part-time Parochial Vicar at both Seton Parish and Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish. In addition to his duties, he will also have duties on the diocesan level working in the Diocesan Ethnic Ministry Office. He will reside at the rectory at Seton Parish beginning on September 18, 2024, after a brief period of orientation at St. Joseph Cathedral. We look forward to welcoming him and getting to know him. At present, we are aware that he has served as Administrator of the Vicariate of Gambella and has just completed some studies in Europe.
Door Hangers
Reminder: For all those interested in going out into the neighborhood to do doorhangers, today is the day. Please meet at 10:15 after Mass and 1st Saturday prayers for a brief meeting and instruction.

Evangelization Project this Saturday 10:15 am
Post cards with this on the front and church and Mass information on the back are being mailed to 1000 people in 43232 zip code who register as Catholic. We hope to evangelize the fallen away Catholics or those who received Sacraments but need a refresher.
Teams will go out after the 9:30 First Saturday Mass on September 7th. You will be paired with an experienced person. We need to know by Tuesday how many are willing to participate in this effort so we know how many Door Hangers we need to print. If you have questions, call Pat Shroyer at 614-886-8266. Since we started this effort at Christmas, we have 45 NEW Families register at Our Lady. We are hoping for 40 people ( 20 Teams).
Josie Boston and Ann Carney have taken the initiave seriously and are going out in Ann’s neighborhood for 1 hour each week to place door hangers. Others can do this as well.

Our Adopt-a-Student school supply collection has now ended. We wish to thank all those who contributed items to help our students. This year, we decided to distribute the supplies in-house – for parishioners of Our Lady. This weekend, September 7& 8, the items will be on tables in Don Ross Hall, and families needing such items are welcome to take what they need. Again, thank you for your generosity. (From Bulletin)
